Before you get started for real, here is an overview of the topics you should have already covered in preparation for your first day at work.

Note: In the next few days you will receive your employee ID card, your personnel number and important information and documents to help you get started. You can find out more here. You can only access the DB Planet page once your DB user account has been activated on your first day of work.

Your first day on the job

Your manager has informed you where and when you will meet them. It is best to work out a few days in advance how you will get to your workplace.

Initial meeting with your manager, including discussion of the onboarding plan

Welcome

At the initial meeting, you will discuss your future tasks and role with your manager. You will get to know each other's wishes and expectations for the onboarding process and your working relationship.


Welcome event for international staff (optional)

You have the opportunity to register for the DB Welcome event and a Welcome Day for international employees. Please discuss this with your manager.
